Canyon Walk

On Friday, we are going to  be walking up the  Canyon Trail as part of our Lewis and Clark Expedition.  We will walk the trail to the bridge that is near Rusty’s Steak House.  Along the way, students will be writing and drawing in their journals some of the geological features, plants, and any wildlife that we may see.  There is a permission slip in this week’s homework folder for you to sign and have returned by Friday.  I encourage students to wear comfortable walking shoes, dress appropriately for the weather, and bring a water bottle.  The hike is not taxing and it will take us a couple of hours to complete.

Homework

This week’s homework will not be a formal packet.  We are in the midst of reviewing our Math for the SAGE testing and so students will be bringing home math assignments on a daily basis for review.  Please have the homework returned each day.
