We will be making volcanoes in class on Thursday afternoon.  We are in need of empty, small, medium, and large size cans.  Also, we could use some newspapers. A small grocery sack per group is recommended.  We have given out the assignments in class, it would be helpful if some of these materials can be brought from home.  Thank you for your help.

Homework

The homework for the week is to write a report on an explorer.  The instructions are in the packet and each student has chosen an explorer to write about and report to the class.  The assignment will be due next Monday, not Friday of this week.  I am strongly encouraging the kids to use their own words and not just copy what is written from another resource.  If you do not have access to a computer or other books, please let me know and I will provide it for your student. If you have any questions, please call or email me.

Access to Grades

In this week’s folder are the instructions on how to access your  child’s grades on line.  Feel free to check them out anytime.
