^{Congratulations to our class Spelling Bee winners, Kealie, Ezra, and Kate.  They will be representing our class in this Thursday’s school wide Spelling Bee.  We wish them luck as they compete against the other 4th and 5th grade winners in our school.}

^{Valentine’s Day Party}

^{We will be having a Valentine’s Day Party on Friday afternoon.  We will have a sign up sheet in class if students want to bring treats.  Here is a list of the students in our class if you want to address Valentines.}

^{A Million Minutes of Reading}

^{Our school reached our first goal of reading a million minutes.  On Wednesday, Mr. Moyle will be arrested and will read to us at 11:00.  We encourage our students and families to continue reading.  Our second million minutes will result in an ice cream party for each class.}

^{SAGE TESTING}

^{We begin the SAGE Writing tests this week.  We will be testing on Tuesday and Thursday.  We encourage all students to get a good night’s rest and make sure you have a filling breakfast so that you can do your best.  The writing portion of this test is given early in the year.  The remainder of the final end of level tests will be given in April and May.}
