March 2nd-6th Newsletter

Parent Teacher Conferences

Parent Teacher Conferences will be held this week.  School will be dismissed at 2:30 everyday including Wednesday.  During our conferences we will spend time planning and registering for the middle school.  I hope you have taken the time to decide if your child would like to be in the orchestra, band, or in the arts/music rotation.  The middle school is asking that we turn in the registration forms at the conclusion of SEP Week.  Also, there will be parent survey forms that we encourage you to fill out while you are here.  We use this information to help us in making decisions for the upcoming year and for self improvement.  Your input is valued.

Book Fair

The Book Fair will be in the library this week.  They are offering a “buy one, get one free” deal on all books.  It is a great opportunity to build your child’s library at home.

Dr. Suess’ Birthday Party

Tonight, Monday, March 2nd there will be a fun activity for all families at the city library in honor of Dr. Suess’ birthday.  It will be held from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at the Cedar City Library in the Park. 303 N. 100 E.

School Spring Pictures

School Spring Pictures will be taken on Friday, March 13th.  There will be a packet of information that will be in today’s homework folder about the prices.

School Science Fair, March 26th

The annual school science fair will be held on Thursday, March 26th.  Each student has an opportunity to choose between a fair experiment or hand in a 4 page written assignment about a science topic.  The information about the science fair will be given out at SEP conferences.  All registration forms will be due on Friday, March 13th.
